On a bright February day, Zara and Oliver chose Millbridge Court to celebrate their love story surrounded by family and friends.
The morning began with everyone getting ready on-site - Zara in The Loft with her bridesmaids and their Mums, Oliver in one of the bedrooms with his groomsmen. Zara looked stunning in her Madi Lane wedding dress from The Farnham Boutique, which featured delicate leaf-embroidered drop sleeves.
One of the day's most touching moments was Zara's first look with her dad. The room was filled with happy tears as they shared this special time together. The ceremony itself was deeply emotional, with their mums standing as witnesses. As Zara and Oliver walked back down the aisle as newlyweds, they were greeted by a joyous confetti tunnel, creating a picture-perfect moment of celebration.
After the ceremony, Zara and Oliver enjoyed a private drinks reception with their parents in The Loft, a quiet interlude before the larger festivities began. This intimate moment allowed them to share some special time with their parents before re-joining their guests, and I loved being able to capture those moments for them.
The beautiful grounds of Millbridge Court provided a stunning backdrop for their group photos. We took advantage of the lovely gardens for their couple portraits, capturing the newlyweds against the serene and picturesque landscape. We walked down to the honeymoon suite, where Zara was keen to have a whimsical photo in the suite’s iconic copper bathtub!
The wedding breakfast was a feast of emotions, punctuated by heartfelt speeches from the maid of honour, best man, father of the bride, and the bride and groom themselves. It was wonderful to see everyone participate and share their love and best wishes for Zara and Oliver. Following the emotional speeches, the couple cut their wedding cake and transitioned into their first dance, setting the stage for an evening of lively dancefloor action.
Millbridge Court’s combination of elegant spaces and relaxed, natural ambiance made it the perfect setting for Zara and Oliver’s wedding day. It was a fantastic start to my wedding season, filled with unforgettable moments and genuine emotions.
